History...

Where to start... 

Well, my name is J and I work as an IT QA engineer and have done for the past 8 odd years. 
Really enjoy what I do but for my family and friends I am also a computer expert/ engineer/ boiler fixer/ plumber/ skimmer/ car mechanic/ gardener and tree surgeon.. etc etc... you get the gist. 

As I am doing all these items I thought I'd put up what I have done to maybe help someone else out there.

Going back a tad further, while I was at uni I was introduced to Counter Strike which lead to forming a clan called {FUNKY} clan, which almost went to the point of obsession where I was hosting game servers and joining competitions at the risk of completion of my degree (as you do). Had to get my gaming fix...

Most recently my 7 year old Lenovo Ideapad died, I've honestly got to say it has been a solid machine and done me proud. Well, when I say dead i mean the battery doesnt hold charge and the 'Y' key stopped working. You dont realise the value of the Y key until its gone. O well better to have loved and lost....

I could have easily replaced both items and got it working again but I needed an excuse to get a sexy new machine. I was after an ultrabook... choices choices. 

I could get another Lenovo ultrabook, a Asus Zenbook, or even a sexy Dell XPS 13 (pwah and swoon)... but instead i went for.... drum roll please.... spoiler alart... a Macbook Pro!!!
