Struggling to reformat a Curry's or Team Knowhows laptop, here's how to do it. (Without losing your mind)
A common struggle is, when trying to reformat laptops using the team Knowhow media drive. Team Knowhow are known to be awkward, provide little to no instructions, and want to turn everything in to a sale. Just take a look at their review on Trustpilot, it speaks for itself.
I'm here to tell you how I did it using a recovery media USB. If it helps even one person, I'll class it as a win!
After a while of trial and error this is the way that worked for me.

Here is the step by step:
Step 1: First plug in your recovery media USB and power on the laptop, as it begins to turn on hold down the F9 key until you get this blue box on screen.

Step 2: Select the option shown "USB hard drive" and hit Enter, this will prompt you to select a language and then a keyboard layout, choose whatever suits you.
After that you will see a screen that looks like this:
Step 3: Select "recover from a drive" you will then be asked for a recovery key.

Step 4: Select "skip this drive".
Now select "clean the drive fully" - make sure you've backed up anything you want to keep - and you will get this final blue screen where you select "recover" and wait for the laptop to, fingers crossed, do its thing.
It might take a while for it to finish the process so give it time (mine took 4.5 hrs) but that's all there is it, after it has fully reformatted you will be able to set it up as a brand new laptop.
Happy formatting!
